Henwyn

Identity, memory and what it means to belong to a place like Bodmin.

Inspired by the George Ellis collection and led by artist collective Henwyn, this series of hands-on photography workshops gave participants the chance to dive into these historic images and reflect on what they showed.

Alongside learning skills in photography and archive research, they also created new contemporary photographs, capturing moments of Bodmin life today. The group included a range of people from complete beginners to budding professionals with a common purpose - a renewed sense of pride in the people and places of Bodmin.
