That’s been the guiding idea behind Roots and Routes, an
18-month Heritage Lottery and Arts Council funded creative project placing heritage at the heart of Bodmin’s cultural recovery and community pride.

We began working with a remarkable archive -
the George Ellis Collection, a treasure trove of mid-20th century photographs capturing everyday life in Cornwall and started to open them up to new interpretation and new eyes.
